HI guys I'm wondering if this is a healthy ph level if not any ideas on bringing this down to a stable level and keeping it there with water changes?

That ph is great! If you keep live bearers like Mollies or guppies, you'll want it higher though. I am jealous of that though, mine never dips below 7.5

That ph is absolutely fine, most fish are fairly adaptable to a ph range. Mine won't budge from 7 and everyone is happy and healthy.

Hello Jar...

If you're keeping a basic tank with fish from the local pet store, then a steady pH is more important than a particular pH. Pet store fish will a adapt to a considerable pH range as long as it's constant. You're smart to know the importance of regular water changes. The more water you change and the more often you do it, the better for the tank in general.

Have fun!

Disagree with this - mollies and guppies will do absolutely fine in this PH
