Ph And Gh Rise?

I cycled a 10 gallon with TSS+. It has been cycled for about a week. My pH was originally about 7.4 and GH was 5. I tested today and pH was 8.2 and GH was 7. I have added plants and MopanI driftwood in the past week. I have yet to do a water change. Is it the lack of water change that caused the readings to rise or something else?

What's your KH? What are your source water readings?

What kind of substrate in your tank? Any rocks? Some fertilizers can raise pH too.
