Petsmart Sweepstakes

I stumbled across this last night and thought I would mention it here for all my fellow critter lovers Petsmart is doing a sweepstakes and instant win game that is going on until August 18th. You can enter every day for a chance for a prize or coupon, plus it enters you into a drawing for the grand prizes.

According to the Petsmart's official rules, the sweepstakes prizes are:

Grand Prize (Qty: 1): Trip to Los Angeles, the opportunity to meet Bret Michaels, and the chance to win up to $250,000 in a shopping challenge.
First Prize (Qty: 25): Bret Michaels “The Player” Acoustic Guitar.
Second Prize (Qty: 25): $50 PetSmart gift card.

The daily prizes vary from day to day, but some of them seem pretty good. There's a Top Fin 5 gallon aquarium kit up for grabs on the 17th

I'd like to win a new tank, but I'd be kind of sad if I accidentally won the grand prize or something, haha. I wonder what they would do if the winner said "Oh I don't want to meet him, I just wanted a new tank." Put it back up for grabs, maybe?

I've never heard of him before. I could go for the $250,000 though.

 

I could probably tolerate meeting him for $250,000...though I don't like the sound of a "shopping challenge".

According to the rules it's a "Petsmart Shopping Challange" You will be given 3.5 aisles of a Petsmart store in LA. You have 30 seconds to get 2000 envelopes in the 3.5 aisles. Of the 2000 envelops 1999 are losers. If the winner does not get the winning check you get a $25,000 check to go home with.

So after taxes, $13,000, still a decent amount to put a downpayment, not much but at least its better than nothing.
