Pest(?) ID

I don’t have a picture because they’re so small and fast. I’ve noticed around my mystery snail clutches there are these tiny black bugs that remind me of fleas. They hop around really fast and I’m not sure what they are. Can anyone ID them and tell me if there’s a way to get rid of them?

Edit: they aren’t in the water that I can tell, just jumping on top of my floaters and around my clutches.

Pictures would help out a lot in this case.

They are too small and fast to take pictures of. They’re almost microscopic and I can never get close enough for it to focus before they jump.

Are they more insect like or worm like?

Definitely more like insects.

Just springtails probably. They're often short-lived. 100% harmless and free food for your fish. They feed off mold though so maybe check to make sure you don't have any dying floaters and def sniff that clutch just to make sure lol. Probably isn't that though
