Peppered Cory Barbels Messed Up

I came home from working a week and I notice he has trouble swimming and barely moving and I can't figure out what's wrong

 

The main cause of tattered cory barbs is rough substrate. Maybe you could use sand instead?

I could but the gravel I been using hasn’t been a problem at all for them. He can’t swim normally anymore and lays on the side.

 

Could it be an injured swim bladder?

Yeah lookin at it now I do think it’s a swim bladder problem
