Peppered Cory and zebra danio setup. Opinions?

This is a 20 gallon long, running an AC30. Currently stocked with 1 nerite snail, 6 zebra danios, 1 Java fern, and 3 crypt undulatas. As you can see I have the log and house decorations for "hiding" spots, albeit the danios seem to be loving the thrill of chasing each other through the house, but would this be a good habitat for peppered corys? Thinking of a school of 6.

The substrate is fluorite topped with aquarium sand which I replenish every so often when it gets disturbed by water changes and reorganization.

Lighting is currently a regular housing with a plant bulb but I am switching to the planted plus 24/7 next week. Dosing with excel but switching to a paintball CO2 system too, so the plants should go well.

Sounds like a great setup! At what temp do you keep the tank? The peppered cories need 72 F or less, and danios will do fine at 72 F too!

I'd even add more danios, maybe for a total of 8-10?

I have a non-programmable thermostat that keeps it at 74-76 degrees, too high for peppered?

I was debating adding more zebras or even sticking with my original plan of 6 zebras, 6 cories, and one dwarf gourami.

Meant to add this in initial post.

That's a little high for the danios too. I'd either turn your heater off or get an adjustable one. Both the danios and the cories can handle water in the low 70s and mid to upper 60s
