So I'm considering consolidating and getting rid of some tanks (primarily my 10 and one of my 20s) as it's getting a bit much to deal with as life gets busier.
In one of my 20s, I have a school of peppered cories doing well with a snail in their planted tank. I'd like to finish stocking the 20 by adding my adult guppys and just leave my fry in the 10 for now until I finish planting my 20. Question is, how well do cory do with guppy fry? I'd prefer for as many to survive as possible but don't mind losing a few here and there as I've been breeding for snack purposes for my larger fish. Would these be acceptable tank mates and allow the fry to grow? The 20 in question currently only has a few swords and a crypt as well as a few stems of anacharis I'm growing plus some money wort. After I move the adult guppies I'll be moving my plants from 10 which are all kind of outgrowing it so there will be a pretty good amount of cover. Hopefully that paints a pretty good picture.
Final stocking will be 8 guppy (2 male 6 female) and 6 peppered Cory. I only plan to move fry out once they are large enough to actually be a bit of a challenge for my other fish (so around an inch). I also don't want to cramp the Cory as to my understanding this size tank is a bare minimum for a small school. Any input would be helpful.
