Funny Peoples profile pics not as they seem

A lot of people on here I see their profile pic on a daily basis but never actually look at it I just see it out of the corner of my eye. For example for like a month I thought mattgirl profile pic was an axolotl lol. Just from the corner of my eye it kinda looks like one. Has this happened to anyone else with peoples pics?

My dad went through a phase where he took two random animals, & photoshopped them together to make it look natural. My picture is a gray cat ... mixed with a gray elephant. There's more where that came from! I want to change it as well because I assume it creeps people out, but I don't have a clue what to change it to.
