Pellets as primary food

My honey gourami will only eat the fluval bug bites pellets of the various foods I've tried (freeze dried bloodworms, omega one color enhancing flakes and bug bites). I was thinking of trying a different brand like northfin or xtreme but was wondering, if they prefer pellets, if there is any disadvantage to sticking with pellets in the other brands?

The other fish are:
Male betta, guppies, 1 balloon molly, 7 rummynose (going to increase this to 11 but they are new arrivals).

All of the other fish eat anything I've offered including the Hikari crab food nd zucchini that I tried to get to my snails.

The gourami have been in there 6 weeks and are active and colorful and inhale the bug bites but spit everything else out.

If they eat them, than do research and figure out if there good for the gourami and if they are, keep feeding them if the other fish don't eat them but the gourami doesn't eat anything else than feed them both

To be honest with you, my only advice is to feed what they'll eat.

Most prepared foods (pellets and flakes) are pretty much a complete diet - variety is best, but any one mainstream food should usually have everything a fish will need to stay healthy. Bug bites has a lot of meat, but also has some vegetables in it. Should be fine, IMO.

Xtreme is usually a pretty good brand, IME. I only ever use Omega One, when it comes to dry foods - I find that they're cheap, accessible, and most fish take them very well.

Thanks. I forgot that I also feed fluval spirulina flakes for my guppies and molly. Which the gourami also won't eat (the rummynose aren't crazy for them either) but it's not targeted to them so I don't sweat that too much.

I would fast for a day then try again with the pellets. And once they eat the pellets again only feed the bug bites as an occasional treat. My fish would only eat blood worms and wouldn’t get back on pellets no matter what I tried and eventually they died idk if it was related to that but now I know to only feed treats once a month or so

The pellets are the only thing they eat. They are bug bites community pellets. I'm sure they'd eat frozen or live but want to make sure they will eat prepared. Im going to try northfin pellets and see if they will take them so that at least I'll have 2 types of food for variety...even if they are both pellet form. I just wanted to be sure that high quality pellets were at least as good as similar quality flakes
