I discovered my pearls, George and Georgina, courting today. Yah, I've been wondering when this would happen and am excited!

Think I need more plants in surface of my tank.Thought I saw this happening with my 2 yesterday but wasnt sure.Having seen your video I now know what to look out for.What are you going to do if they have lots of babies?I've never seen a bubble nest except in a video.Please post video if he makes one.

Oh he's making one. I have to stand far off so I don't disturb him. I hope to keep some babies if I can. I'm not going the extra mile, if they survive they do, if not, it's nature.

I had thought of lowering the water line and shutting off the filter. But decided to leave it alone. See what happens.

I'm not really sure. It appears the male is guarding a spot, possible nest.
He swims away if I get too close. I don't see any fry. The female isn't fat anymore either.

Time will tell. I do have a cover on the filter intake just in case.
