I have a 40g tank with 1 Pearl gourami and he will nip at my Corydoras often during feeding. Will this injure the Corydoras?

I doubt it, but I'd suggest getting a couple more pearls to keep it occupied.

I have had this Pearl gourami for a year and he has killed my red eye tetra and he chases my tiger barb around the tank.

Just look out for any damage to the fins of the Cory, my dwarf gourami can do the same when I put catfish pellets in. It’s usually just a way of making them move so the gourami can get to the sunken food. Any signs of torn fins you might have to separate and treat for infection

When the pearl gourami nips the corydoras they show a sign of irritation by flinging and rubbing

I think you should keep an eye out for damage, and separate the fish if necessary. Unfortunately fish can develop habits for these things so the gourami is unlikely to stop doing it

Get some more pearl gouramis to distract it from the corydoras. Add some more hiding spots for the corys. Also, you mentioned you had Tiger barbs. Tiger barbs do best in larger groups. Also how many corys do you have? That might effect it.
