Peacock Gudgeon In 10 Gallon?

toeknee

Hello. For my planted 20 gallon long I ordered 3 peacock gudgeons and requested two females and one male. Unfortunately I wound up with 2 males and one female. It was all fine for a few months until the juvenile female became an adult. Now during mating the males fight furiously and one recently got some pretty severe fin rippage. I have an established 10 gallon hospital tank I'm thinking of adding substrate, plants etc. and making it one of the males permanent homes. Will a 10 gallon be large enough for a male peacock gudgeon?

Absolutely! In fact, if you could get him a female, you could do a pair in PGs in a 10 gallon.

I agree and they are absolutely beautiful

I agree, a 10 gallon is fine for 2 peacock gudgeons.
