Peacock Eel In Community Tank?

My family and I have a 240l Juwel Rio with:
    5 rummynose tetras
    4 Neon Tetras
    1 honey Gourami
    1 Male Fancy guppy
    3 Panda Cories
1 Male Super Red bristlenose pleco

On a recent visit to one of my LFS, one of the tanks had a bunch of peacock eels hiding in the substrate, each around approximately 3-6cm. I really wanted them so I did research on them. the ph, temp and water chemistry is compatible for the eel and my aquarium has sand so the eel can bury themselves. I also have a lid to prevent escapees. I will buy frozen food as well in the future. However, I don't know if they are compatible with the stocking as they might eat the small fish such as tetras and cories. But the ones in the LFS are very small so I don't know for sure.

    Any help or suggestions please?
Thank you and have a nice day! :)

I have one. I wouldn't recommend getting one with your current stocking. Mine is feed feeder fish and he swallows they whole. they also get 1ft+
