Peacock Cichlid Aggression

Netanelsfish

Hi I have a 40g (48 US gallons) peacock cichlid tank and in the past months 3 fish have died leaving me with just 6 fish they are all males and my water is perfect. So I was wondering if I would end up with aggression problems all of them ar 4 to 6 inches. I have no money to buy more fish to diffuse aggression.

Realistically, a 48 gal. tank doesn't afford enough space for nine adult Peacock Cichlids.
If aggression arises between the six surviving Peacocks, provide a hardscape tall enough to restrict line of sight & complex enough to provide cover & concealment.
Hope this helps.

Don't think that's going to help in that tank size. For these fish a tank with a 150x60cm footprint should be the least to be provided by the owner.
