Peach Tree Branches in Tank?

BettaBuddy

I have a TON of tree branches that have been sitting outside since fall of 2010, not very long I know, but I was wondering if eventually they will be safe for aquarium use?

They were cut from a peach tree. After it dries out, could I boil it and soak it and add it to my tank?

Also, I have some dried bradford pear branches that look awesome. It's not a pear tree though. Is it hardwood, can I use it?

I also have the PERFECT horse apple branch. Is that okay?

Be careful, could have pesticide from prior sprayings.

Be careful, even after pre-soaking,you don't know what will it do to your fish, water, etc.
