Pea Puffers And/or Shrimps

I currently have rcs in my 15 gallon and am planning on getting at least one pea puffer, as I see it I have a few options:

1. Divide my 15 and have 1 pea puffer on one side and the rcs on the other side and maybe but not for sure in the future I could put a betta on the shrimp side
2. Get 3 pea puffers for the 15 gallon and put the shrimp in a 9g bin, just for breeding and stocking the other tanks purposes(it won’t be for display).

Here are the options Incase I get some yellow shrimp:

1. The same as number one only I get a 5 or 10 gallon and put the yellows in it
2. Same as number one but the yellows on the same side as the reds
3. Or get a ten gallon divide it, put the yellows on one side and the reds on the other and get 3 pea puffers for the 15g
4. Same as 5 only without the divider
5. Any idea you have. Which would you do?

Depends on how many puffers you want

 

In a 15 you could have about 4-5 Puffers, if you get a 10 gallon you could have 3, it really depends on how many you want.

 

I think I am going to either get 1 or three. So should I keep the shrimp where they are and put the puffer(s) in the new tank(either a 7g or a 10g)

 

Leave the shrimp and you could have a different fish with them, and put the Puffers in the new tank.
