I had to move my pea puffer tank from my dorm to my house last week (campus closure, yaaaay..) and I don't think the puffer took it very well. The whole process involved getting scooped out of the tank and a 3 hour car ride... now, he's more shy than I've ever seen him, even when I first bought him. He shoots away to the back of the tank at any sign of movement outside the tank, darting around like a ping-pong ball in the plants. Snails and worms I offer lower his mood from "abject terror" to "extremely suspicious" at best. Is he just stressed from the move, or are these signs of bigger trouble of some sort? How can I get him to calm down again?
Edit: I haven't gotten the chance to test parameters, but there's a small population of cherry shrimp that are foraging and breeding without a care, so I'm pretty sure that's not an issue.
