I have an auratus cichlid in my tank who’s poop is white/transparent. I’ve heard that’s a sign of parasites so I’d like to know how to tell for sure and how to treat it? He still swims all day and eats and everything he just has the white poop

I would put him in QT and treat with Prazi Pro OR get some Seachem focus and metroplex and soak the metro and focus in the food.

It's likely when he eats he spits it out eventually.

Like @Culprit says QT him. I've used API General Cure (APIGC). So if the previously two are not available APIGC usually is available. Both drugs work the same but the treatment schedule is different I believe. APIGC you change the water every 48 hours prior to dosing while metroplex is a week(?).
