Parasite Tablet?

ok, so after figuring out that my guppies probably have internal parasites I started using jungles medicated fish food for internal parasites. the problem was they wouldn't eat the stuff. so today I switched to jungle's parasite clear tablet "watch 'em fizz!" lol. anyway, I was wondering if this tablet is any good. it was the only other option I had. oh and will it really not harm my bio filter?

also i'm a little confused by the directions. its says treatment may be repeated up to 2 times with 48 hrs between treatments and a 25% water change. so does this mean I should repeat 2 more times? and does this mean that after each treatment I should do a 25% water change?

It won't hurt your bio filter and they do work very well. I have used them and did the 3 treatment process with no issue to biological filtration at all and all of my fish, inverts, and plants came out looking well. ;D

I means that you treat once... Wait 48 hours... If you deem that another treatment is needed you MUST change 25% of the water BEFORE you add more tabs. You can only "re-treat" 2 times... If the fish is still sick after this the fish has been mis-diagnosed or something but you can't do another treatment for at least 7 days and 2 water changes. <--- called jungle about the 7 day 2 water changes thing when I used it. ;D

Make sure your carbon is removed or it will remove all of the medication...

Once you have finished treating your fish, try soaking their food in garlic juice. This is a natural way to keep away the internal parasites. Garlic is also used as an appetite enhancer, but start them slowly. Get a jar of minced garlic, and start with a few drops of the juice diluted with tank water to soak the food. Keep building up the concentration until the liquid is pure garlic juice. Then start adding pieces of the minced garlic. I have read that some fish will eat the garlic first! I have also read that fish fed garlic also repel ick.

Are you serious ?? <----- Joking.. ;D Does this work with all fresh water fish or are their species that don't take well to this ??

I think it just depends on the individual fish. Even the homemade fish food recipes usually have garlic as an ingredient, and a lot of the fish that eat it are carnivores. I've seen it especially recommended for discus and angels which are more prone to internal parasites. My angels like it.
