Paradise Fish stocking question

I have a 2 year old female paradise fish who I love - I'm rehoming my community fish so she can move into my 29 gallon tank to offer more space. She previously lived in an outdoor stock tank pond and got huge but I missed being able to interact with her, so I brought her inside and she's been temporarily living in a heavily planted 10 gallon alone but this clearly is not a long term appropriate housing, she's super active and intelligent.

BUT, I've spent hours pouring through previous posts and have no clear good idea. I think a 29 gallon with only 1 female paradise fish might be a little boring considering it will be my main display tank. I've been trying to consider a few potential options but am not confident any of them would be good, looking for advice:

1. a single rainbow shark (is 29 gallon too small if they are the only 2 fish?)
2. a single true siamese algae eater (is 29 gallon too small if they are the only 2 fish?)
3. a school of odessa barbs (how many? will they eat my huge sword plants I've been patiently growing for years?)
4. a single male paradise fish (will she accept him automatically or are they picky about mates and might kill each other?)
5. multiple female paradise fish (kind of like a betta sorority?)

Thanks to all for any suggestions - maybe there is something else I'm not thinking of? For some temperament background, I already tried cory cats and she ate the eye out of one so I rehomed the poor guys. She currently lives with mystery snails and nerite snails and ignores them completely.

If your fish is aggressive enough to poke the eyes out of corydoras, I don't think I would trust them with any other fish.

She used to live with zebra danios without incident, but it was when I had a 75 gallon which I sadly had to sell to make room for non-aquarium furniture - she's not a maniac but I was wondering more given the tank dimensions. I've seen others post about having more than 1 paradise in a 29 gallon if anyone has insight about that?

Update - she is truly a maniac and will be enjoying all 29 gallons by herself - I just watched her do some crazy maneuver at the surface of the water to make a loud sound and scare off my cat who was innocently watching her swim. Since she ignores the mystery snails completely and they are always out and active, I'll just get a colorful assortment of them as tankmates - I have come to really enjoy mystery snails as much as fish anyway.

I’d assume the danios were too fast to be caught to be prey .. if she’s not scared of a cat she won’t be scared of anything !!! Try giving her a mirror temporarily and see how she reacts to the thought of another female in her tank.

it sounds like you’ve made up your mind though , probably wisely ! I bet she’s a little stunner !

You reminded me I have one of those mirrors laying around in the back of the cabinet I'd completely forgotten about! I'll try to upload a picture once she gets settled into the permanent home.

Instead of Cory Cats would Kuhli Loaches be better?

This was actually a plan I had in mind to try, sadly just this week she passed away :(

I had her for 3 years but I have read they can live 8-9 years, not sure what happened. Never saw any signs of disease, water parameters were fine. She just started hiding more for about a week and stopped eating the last 2 days. Sounds silly perhaps but I am sad about it.

It isn't silly, I just had a sparkling gourami pass and I felt like , it was sudden as well (nothing I could do water parameters were good just found him floating head first) so you have all the right to feel that way
