Panda Molly with red Gill

Brendoboi

I have a 10 gallon aquarium with 2 golden panda mollys and 2 other fish. I noticed that all but one of the fish have a red spot on there Gill area so I immediately tested my water parameters and got 0 ppm ammonia 0ppm nitrite and 10ppm nitrate and 8.2 ph

I have been treating the whole tank because I noticed a couple days ago that my two other fish looked like they had fin rot so I put api aquarium salt in and api Melafix just in case it was a bacterial infection and today noticed the red spots. All the fish seem to be fine and don’t look sick they are active and eating. What could it be and how would I treat it, thanks.

Their gills look normal to me. Some pink color is normal - an inflamed red color would be concerning, but it looks like healthy gill tissue to me.

As long as they're acting fine, I'd leave them be.

FWIW, I'm also not seeing any signs of fin rot - you might be over thinking this just a bit ;)
