Pale Paleatus Corydoras

A question for you all, about a month ago I bought 7 Paleatus Corydoras for my heavily planted 20 gallon aquarium. One turned a bit pale during acclimation from stress. It survived, and is doing fine, but has yet to regain hardly any of its coloration, with just a hint of spotting being visible. It eats well just like the other corydoras, which are normally colored. Why would this be? Thanks in advance!

I will try, it moves very fast and the tank is heavily planted, making for plenty of hiding spaces.

 

Give it some pellets and be quite while sneaking up.

 

Is the Cory slowly turning white?

 

Some are lighter colored.

 

It is the one in the middle of the first picture. It is surrounded by albino cories. In the second picture is one of the other normal plateus cories.

He was like the normal plateus cory at first, but turned pale during acclimation and never colored back up.

Any ideas why?

 

No idea. Only thing is I think you're feeding algaewafers. Corys get more nutrition from shrimppellets aso (on the carnivorious side)

Yup, likely the reason it got pale was that it was slightly stressed out.
