One of my 3 adfs is rather pale, and I wondered if that was bad? it seems to be behaving normally tho. Any help would be great!

HI Squirrelmanajh - Has this frog always been paler in color? Sometimes ADFS can look a little lighter right be for they shed their skin. As long as your water parameters are all in check, just keep an eye on him/her and maybe you'll see him/her shed. I have 3 ADF's and one male has always been much darker. The female is the lightest and another male right in between.

While sometimes a difference in color is normal as Jancy suggests I would be concerned that it is related to what is going on with your other frog:

Lucy-that's kinda y I'm concerned. Bc theyve gone pale b4 but then changed back quickly so idk what's happening. Let me test the parameters.

How often do you do water changes? I had a problem a month ago where mine all started to lose colour.
I had to move mine outside of my house for a day and a half while it was sprayed and the bucket I put them in was filthy when I pulled then out and their colour was noticeably lighter.
I'd test your water than do small water changes for the next few days, see if his colour picks up, also watch him and make sure he's acting normal and eating

I think the Nitrates are a little high - I'd do 50% water change to try and get your Nitrates down to at least 20-preferably lower.

Yes, nitrates are indeed high for frogs. I keep mine at 5 but I'm super heavily planted

I did a water change and I'm hoping to get it planted soon to help. But I'll keep a closer watch on nitrates.
