Hows it going guys? So I'm getting a used 220 gallon tank and wood stand/canopy. I want to re paint the stand its currently black but it needs a good paint job. I'm going sand it down and prime it and re paint it black. What kind of primer/paint should I use? Should I use spray paint or roll it on? Also should I use some type of water proof paint for the Canopy? Any help would be appreciated. Thank you!

Hello. Congrats on the new tank! The attached pic is what i use for pretty much everything. I painted a stand with it about a year ago, it's easy to clean and doesn't chip. I don't have a hood so i cant say if its good for that, but i splash water on the stand and haven't had any issues with it. Its like 4 bucks a can, and it only took 2 to do my 3 ft long, 30 gallon stand. 20190219_122113.jpg
