    and how do i know its age....i've had it for 3 months but i do not know how long the pet store had it

    4 1/2 inches. got him at 2 1/2 inches. I measure ed him with a ruler

    If its still growing, its most likely not stunted.

    grow out 70g. Its a 48''x 18''x 18''. he'll be going into a 6'x2'x2' with a 90g sump when he is close to a foot. The pet shop was gonna dump him in a river cause he was the last one there for a week or so.

    I know a man who keeps a full grown Oscar in a 70. I'm sure your Ozzy is fine

    IMO a 70 is small since i keep monster fish. Usually that 70g is my quarantine.

    I live in Florida so we do have invasive Oscars, Peacock Bass, and more!

    How big is fully grown to you? Oscars kept in surberb conditions and have a adequate size tank can reach 14-15".

    so will a 6x2x2 be good for one or should i go for a 6x3x2. ( in the order of Length x width x height)
