Overflow Box ??? can you use it for water changes?

    Not sure what you mean? An over flow for water changes can you be more specific on this question?

    i mean an over flow box i think it prevents overflow and it sucks the water out of the tank and i am woondering if you can use it for water changes?

    There is really no benefit in using the overflow box for that case. I would be simpler to use a siphon hose. If you want an easy way to take out water, you could use a powerhead or water pump.

    Get you a 4 foot vinyl tubing from local hardware store to do water changes or buy a gravel siphoning hose from LFS.
