Over population of snails

I unfortunately must not have rinsed off some recent plants that I got and now there’s an insane amount of snails. Will assassin’s nails be my best bet to eliminate using chemicals? In the meantime is there any harm with the snails that are continuing to populate in the tank? Thanks guys

No they wont bother anything if you dont mind them. They will thin out when food becomes more scarce. You can pull some out to thin the Pop yourself too. Assassins will only be able to eat so much. I would go on a snail hunt before any other measures. Throw a veggie in there and get a bunch at once?

I’ve never tried that. Just a piece of lettuce or something at the bottom for the night?

Will they stay alive out of water?

They could in some damp trash. They are invasive you don't want them to get in lakes and rivers etc.
