Outdoor Betta Pond

so, I have Bettas spawning in an outdoor garden pond... lol. I plan to put a net like cover over the pond so birds and cats can’t eat them... I’ll bring fry inside once they hatch too.
For the record, this wasn’t on purpose. Lol

yeah something like that isnt possible here in canada unless the pond is heated. get way too cold during certain times of the year. although it is pretty exciting that you managed to breed them

Well, I breed them inside... so I thought I’d do a summer pond to house some of them... I’m in Illinois so it gets cold during winter here but it’s in the 80s outside right now... so it’s temporary. But yeah, I put some in the pond and I have a couple that are spawning right now under a driftwood root system.. lol.
