Our first open house

Well we had our 1st open house yesterday and it was a hit. 7 People showed up! 3 of the 7 are intrested, so we'll see if any offers are given. I hope so. Mike and I were pre-approved for a 235,000 dollar loan today and it's good for 60 days. If we don't put in an offer on the house that we want in that time period, which we probably won't until we sell, we just have to tell the lender and the lender will just update the letter. I'm so excited. I can't wait to sell our condo. I really think that even though the market is slow that we will sell fast. Natalie

Congrats, hope you have better luck than us. My parents our trying to sell our house in a month, no such luck yet. 7 people, that's good, our neigbor got maybe 5 and they sold.

Nope sorry Dave, whatever money we have left over is going into our checking and savings. Talked to our realtor yesterday. One of the young guys that came to it is very interested and he's trying to get qualified for it. He said he doesn't have the greatest credit, but that if he can get qualified he'll take the higher interest rate. I don't care as long as he get's qualified and we can sell it.natalie
