Oto's and meds

I noticed today that there is a little chunk taken out of Barneys tail today. It wasn't like that a couple days ago, so I think maybe RJ bit him for some reason. It's not too bad, but I want to know if maracyn 2 would be safe to use on him. I know certain meds aren't safe with Oto's because of their sensitivity, so I want to make sure I know what meds are safe for them. Thanks for the help. Natalie

 

Hey Natalie, from what I can find Otos are ok with Maracyn-2. But your plan of keeping the water clean and using vitamins outta help his tail regrow and it's always good if you can skip the meds. That and putting a Flinstones DVD in for him to watch all day.

good question. i've never tried to feed ours bloodworms, corys would but i'd be curious to see if otos would.
