Can otocinclus catfish be kept in a semi aggressive tank? If yes would they be able to be kept with fish that reach about 6 inches?

What fish will they be with? How big is the tank and will it be well planted with lots of hiding places?

Yeah, you'll have to be a little more specific...

I wouldn't keep Oto's with tiger barbs, I've seen them rip fins off corys at the bottom of the tank so Oto's who tend to stay higher up would be a sitting target

Thanks, is their an algae eater that would work well in this kind of tank. It is still being set up no current fish.

You could try a bristle-nose pleco ( not the long fin variety) They have bony scutes for armor and are also pretty good at holding their ground. Also can be very good cleaners given they have enough plants to equally rasp so he doesn't over rasp on one plant. Mine LOVES the clean on my melon plant, and I thought I had enough variety but he really takes to the Melon plant to the point that their is little white rub marks where you can tell he's been busy.
