Other Shoaling Fish With Danios

HI Everyone

I got a 75 gallon tank ( 54inch*18inch*18inch) a month ago and it's moderately planted. I have about 20 pink zebra danios and they seem to enjoy in it with zero mortality till date. I'm wondering what shoaling fish can I introduce? My plan is to have 3 different breeds of fishes with one with the shoaling nature. Will a school of Harlequin Rasbora and Cardinal Tetra gel with the Danios?

Many thanks

Danios tend to get along with a lot of species. But they do prefer colder water.

Lots of options. Neon tetras, white cloud mountain minnows, Buenos Aires tetras, bloodfin tetras, rosy barbs, gold barbs, odessa barbs, australian barbs, skirt tetras and most other danios would work.

What temperature is the tank?

Thanks so much. Temp is roughly 25c. You have named quite a few. Which among these would be good for shoaling?

Ok 25c is a little warm. I'd lower it to around 20-22c. All the fish I listed should do well around that temperature too.

None of those fish will school constantly, usually schooling fish only school properly when scared.

Thanks for educating me. Quite an insight that they school properly when scared. I really like Rasbora. Should I go for a bunch of them?
