I think it might be alright, but watch the tank closely in case the cichlids start fighting. I may be wrong, I haven't owned an oscar in a while, and he may not be compatible with the other cichlids. Sorry about the vague answer.

My only worry would be if the convicts start breeding. They get very territorial.

Hmmm. They are bigger but I don't know much about them. Even the jacks can get quite aggressive from my understanding. Mines still small so time will tell. Now I had an Oscar in a 75 and he killed off his tank mates even a big common pleco. Now your tanks bigger so it may work.
