Hello!

Firstly, take a deep breath! It’s goinf to be okay . You don’t need an oxygen tank if you want to pack them in a bag. You can also transport them in a cooler or bucket, but, if you want to use bags, follow these steps (and sorry for the terrible pic!)

1. Put your fish in the bag and add just enough water to cover your fish

2. Move the bag upward to “grab” air and use your hand to grab the bag near the top

3. Move your hand downward until you can’t do it any longer: the simple movement pushes air down and it should be “full”

4. Twist the bag and tie securely with rubberbbands.

- you can also double bag them (which I recommend)
- and in whatever container you are going to use to transport them, make sure there aren’t any empty spaces so they don’t jostle around during the trip

They do need oxygen, but that procedure adds some oxygen! Normally, if someone were to ship longer, then pure oxygen would be better. But for a controlled, short trip, this bagging method is okay

Haha technically lol. Maybe not for you. Most fish that go through shipping have to deal with being in a bag for at least 24 hours! (If they’re not in shipping for 2-3 days haha)

if you are near a Walmart, they have battery operated air pumps in the fishing section (people use them for fish bait like minnows usually). They're like $8. You just need some batteries, any air line and an air stone. And drop it in a bucket with the fish. I did it both times I moved with my fish
