Oscar Laying Eggs.

Does anyone know about Oscars laying eggs? I addopted an Oscar about a week ago and my tank is filling up with eggs and a silky substance in the rocks. Eggs are colored brown and she moved the substrate around a circle for spawning point. Need help ASAP.

Looks like she made herself a nice little nest. Is her mate in there too?

She is the only one in the tank

Ok. Her eggs are not going to get fertilized. Don't worry about it she will end up eating them. If she doesn't you should remove them. Otherwise the will develop fungal growth.
