Oranda Growth. what to expect

Growout

Hi Can some one please tell me at what age do Oranda goldfish stop growing when kept in ideal water conditions and what size can they reach in that time frame .
Thank you

They can get up to 12", not sure how fast they can grow but you need to keep them in a large tank and do multiple large water changes to keep them healthy.

Most will grow to be 7-10 inches, but sometimes up to a foot. They’re on the bigger side for fancy goldfish, so naturally they need a bigger tank than smaller varieties like pearlscales or ryukins. For a pair or trio, 55 gallons would be the ideal minimum. I don’t recommend keeping most goldfish solitary unless they have health problems, but a 40 gallon breeder tank would be sufficient for one oranda in theory. :)
