Opps I Did It Again!

Guys, I cannot express how much I COULD NOT let this guy go. I was at my local Petco to purchase some more Betta food and of course as always, I went to check the Betta section. I saw this guy and I instantly feel in LOVE! I just couldn't say no, I had to take him home, especially after seeing 3 dead betta's floating in their cups *cry*

Here he is! I'm thinking of naming him Salem, but i'm not 100% sure. Some name suggestions would be cool!

 

I'm not very good with names, but I just had to comment on how stunning he is.

 

Wow he is stunning. I'll throw out Murasaki, Japanese for Purple.

 

What an absolutely stunning boy- he looks like an attempt to make a black orchid pattern. I think Salem would be a great name (though I may be biased seeing as that's y name )

He's beautiful! I have to look away and walk by fast to avoid the Beta section. I absolutely cannot do one more impulse buy! I started out with one 29 gn tank 10 months ago, now up to 6 and breeding corydoras'.... lol... Anyhow, when I first saw him I thought of " Sammy" don't know why. He is truly a stunning fish!

I might have chosen a name that was vaguely dark, like Pugsley. (if anyone remembers the Addams Family)

He's soooo pretty! I'm lucky and my Petco has really pretty Bettas too.

 

He is stunning! Awesome find! I do the same thing whenever I'm at Petsmart/Petco. Their fish situations are horrible.

I just bought my first Betta today. Been debating quite awhile. Had the tank ready, even already bought a leaf hammock a month ago! LOL I let my granddaughter name him because he is teal, her favorite color. She picked Neko.

This little guy is the most beautiful Betta I have ever seen.

 

Loved pugsly. I just thought he looked like a Leopold. I also like odd names. I have Lars, Boris, Angus, Gunther, phsyco, briabella and drewscilla. Whew. Lol.

 

LOL I just wanted a friendly name for my Betta so he's Benny. Had him almost a year and a half now. He's quite a character. My avatar is him when I first got him. He's bigger and heavier now with longer fins.
