Opinions on my 45 gallon?

    Hey everyone!

This is my 45 gallon breeder dimensions.

I have had it setup since last october and I am constantly messing around with the look.

    I have two questions:

    1. When you look at the photo what do your eyes settle on first?

    2. Any suggestions on what to do with it?

Btw the black box in the top corner is my floating hatchery where I am keeping my c. sterbai fry, it's not permanent.

    Thank you!

    The swords around the centre

First thing I saw was the sword. It's an over grown jungle in there! Not a bad thing by any means. The only thing I would do is to thin out the java moss. One reason is I'm just not a fan of it. The other is it seems to be getting a bit out of control.

Nice looking tank. The swords and vals are amazing!

The moss, I'd agree with Marie it looks a bit unruly & could do with a trim, apart from that I think the tank looks great.

Thanks for the replies! I'll have to do something to shift the focus point. I'll give that moss a good trim!

    Did a bit of trimming.

Your tank is amazing! I have questions for you! Where did u get your driftwood? What kind of pipes are in there for your tank?! I want to do that for my puffers!

That really does look great. Your plants are taking off.

I hope when I do my first planted tank my plants are healthy and grow like yours! .

First thing I see is that white pipe. Can you hide it in the plants?

    Otherwise looks lush.

I'll have to agree. That white pipe is rather annoying.

You can hide the white pipe by either painting it black or taking some form of glue and covering it in gravel or sand

Hey mattfinn (btw sorry that this is off-topic) just a tip- you may want to put 'feeling fishy' as your signature. You can edit your signature by clicking my settings then scrolling down and clicking edit signature on the left.
Also I second that the pipe is sort of 'in the picture' too much.

    Anders it is my signature...
