Hello everyone, I have an issue with my 20 gallon tank. I wanted to start this tank anew and set it up three weeks ago. I am not a beginner. The first fish that I introduced were four lyretail mollies, 1 female 3 male but all thre males different species. The next I introduced abt 4 days later was a male juvenile opaline Gourami. This is where minor problems seemed to occur. I know Gouramis are territorial so whenever a molly came close, they would be chased away. But he did not go and actively trouble the mollies. 3 days later I add a lyretail swordtail and a female opaline Gourami. Also a juvenile, the male would actively chase her but I thought they just needed to adjust with each other. This morning she was found dead with her fins nipped. I did not want this to happen and so many ppl have said that Gourami get together well. Should I be worried abt this for my other fish or is this Gourami just aggressive? If so, I need to rethink my tank layout.
