Opal betta - tail and fin type?

Cooperman411

I am calling him my "high-fin opal" because his dorsal fin is tall and narrow whenever he comes to a complete stop. But mostly he zooms around. His pectoral fins are huge but not quite elephant eared. Tail is small but not plakat small. I'm hoping he doesn't turn into a butterfly/feather tail. He's so agile now. I'd hate to see a huge tail weigh him down. He's tiny. Definitely a juvenile. Below is a photo and a video.

Opal Betta - what fin type?

Hi,

My guess is that he is a delta tail. He is very beautiful! It will be interesting to see if he keeps that absolute white color as he matures, too.

With so much cross breeding, it isn't easy to pin down a betta type until they mature a bit!
