sounds like she is a fish keeper...first thing she does is dump chemicals on it....then asks use what to do.
First what are the symtoms?
is she cycled?
drink lots of fresh water. 25 to 30 % more for 2 weeks
DO NOT use sharp objects.
What are her parameters?
Cut down on feeding til the symptoms clear
watch for white fuzzy stuff forming....
if it looks like salt forming on it, is it ich? sit in a room at about 82 degress for 2 weeks
Call Shawnie

They didn't just start teaching that they have been doing stuff like that since the civil war. OK is either that or moonshine on the cut. >

How about moonshine in me and they can amputate the cut. I'll never feel a thing

I'm an RN too. Bacitracin is a better choice than neomycin which a lot of people are allergic to. If you clean it with peroxide and then keep it clean, it should be better in no time. If the cut is at a joint, you might have to immobilize your finger to give it a chance to heal.

It may be a bit strange, but talc should do the trick. I cut my thumb making perches for my budgies and it works, problem was the only source of talc was baby powder.

Corn starch or Flour also work well as clotting agents if you don't have anything else. I use neosporin cream all the time (the ointment is too greasy for me). How big is the cut? Try to keep it held together with the band-aids. If a band-aid will work, you may not need to get stitches. I sliced my thumb on a pair of scissors. It took a while for it to stop bleeding. I put it in a bowl of ice water and held it over my head. My arm got tired, but the bleeding finally stopped.

You could suck on the cut, my friend and I ,when we were into skateboarding, would always get cuts from falling and my friend would suck on his scrapes and his would always stop bleeding faster than mine

BB...come on up. I have some pain medication. Once you take it you really won't care if your finger is bleeding or not! LOL
I hope you're feeling fine today! (sorry you have a booboo)
