Online Source For Endlers

HI everyone,

I recently became interested in Endlers and would like some male and female Endlers. All the LFS only have male endlers and are not sure if they are hybrid. I'm not interested in becoming a serious breeder. I don't necessarily need class N endlers but don't really like the guppy hybrids as much. Questions are:

1) Does anyone have experience with online Endler sources (swampriveraquatics, endlers1.com, orchidendlers, aquarium fish, liveaquaria)? The first 3 seem to be the only ones who offer "pure" endlers.

2) What is the smallest number of fish I can get for breeding? Would a trio of 2 females and 1 make be ok or do I need 3 trios for a full colony? Again, I'm not interested in becoming a breeder or selling the fry.

Thanks,
Vasyat

I believe 3m/3f is the smallest package I found when I was looking, but was $45.
May have a hard time finding female endlers, you mentioned the sites I know of. Gonna get a n-class colony started when my 75 gallon gets resealed, all its former inhabitants are in the intended endler 40b. Thank god I plant heavily and stock lightly.

All of those sites are well known. Hey toolman didn't you have some as well? Swamp river aquatic is Adrian HDs site... and he is like the Ammano of the Endlers world, maybe more important actually. I would aI'm there are ask him in the endler Facebook Group. He responds to questions regularly.

Oh and for item 2, I would want equal males and females to spread the genetics if breeding. Single male and you may focus on line breeding.

One male and two females is generally the smallest group. I received two trios two months ago and have more than 20 now.

I was out of town and only just saw this thread now. Yes, AdrianHD at swampriveraquatics.com is very reputable. You can also see his listings on Aquabid.

Thanks. I'm specifically interested in Blue Star endlers and I don't think he offers them. Any suggestions on places to purchase them?

Orchidendlers has some right now. I have to admit, I'm not so crazy about them. But then I just love that green/red combination

Thanks. Orchidendlers does carry them but they're currently out of stock. I put myself on the email waiting list a few weeks back but haven't received any notification yet.

HI Endler Peeps!
Has anyone tried to buy Endlers from THE endler guy, Adrian HD? I have gotten one reply, and he asked me to let him know if I was interested in buying some ( I am) and I have emailed him 3 times since November 22 with no response. I REALLY want some registered endlers from Adrian HD. I have a 20 gallon tank waiting, and it is important I buy these fish in the next month as I am off college, and I will have time to make sure the fish settle in well. If I don't get a response soon, I am going to have to look elsewhere .

On another note: I bought my group of 8 peacock endlers from The Endler Shop. The transaction was perfect, but a little expensive for 8 fish. All 8 fish are doing well, and they arrived healthy and alive when I purchased them. The person who runs the Endler Shop got his N-class fish from ADrian HD and you can see his same on Adrian's registry: Joseph Fraga. I am on Joseph Fraga's registry for these fish, so the extra expense may be worth being able to prove where the fish come from.

I got my blue stars from Fishgeekutah, and I found him on Aquabid. Right now, he is all over ebay. You could email him on ebay and ask about the blue stars. These fish are very healthy, too. Just had my first babies. I have his email if anyone is interested. I dunno if it is OK to post it here.

I bought my Orchids from a Boise guy I found on Aquabid, too. He lives in the same town as I, so I was able to go to his home and pick up my fish. I have several babies already from the group I bought from him. I think he is the only endler guy selling out of Boise. I have his email as well.

I just bought 3 female endlers from a guy on ebay from California. I have not gotten the fish yet, and they are not registered, but they were only $18 shipped. I'll let you guys know how it goes. Zamzows, a pet store chain in Boise will order female endlers if requested, but you have to pay in advance. Maybe you could ask your local fish store if they could do this for you?

Sorry for the long post! Please let me know if someone knows how to get a hold of Adrian HD other than email. Thanks in advance,
Lisa.

HI Fishgirl71/Lisa, I'm in the exact same boat as you, lol. Except I haven't gotten a response from AdrianHD in over 2 years. I tried again this week; I sent an email, a PM on facebook to his endler page and personal page, and a message to one of his auctions on aquabid. I saw a post somewhere that he's shipping Endlers in Feb 2018, so I'm really hoping to be included on that list. I also commented on that post.

I thought about buying from The Endler Shop and fishgeekutah, but I figured if I'm going to spend that kind of money on Endlers I may as well wait until I get what I want, which is registered N Class from AdrianHD. I'm really tempted to buy from them now that you've had a great experience with them.

I found a guy in
that has P Class, but they're super handsome little guys (and driving distance from Detroit)! They are from wild caught Endlers, so he knows they're pure; he just doesn't have documentation to prove it. They look pure to me! Between the 3 sources, I like his Endlers the best! Actually, has my absolute favorite, but he isn't selling at the moment. I've bought from him before, and his Endlers (from AdrianHD stock) were beautiful! Sadly, I had to re-home them when I had to take a break from the hobby for a while.

I hope you've been in contact with AdrianHD since you posted!

Hey SevenEro!
Thanks for your post!!! You are just like me! Wanting registered endlers from THE endler guru in the US!!! Sadly, no, I have not heard from AdrianHD since my initial contact.☹️ He did let me be his friend on Facebook, but he has never responded to any if my messages.... He has a very cute baby, though

I too, have seen he is going to be shipping fish in February, so I messaged him what I want. No reply!‍♀️

I’m hoping he will contact me for payment. Maybe I should buy a Ton his registered endlers because I may never get another chance?
Let me know if you hear from him? I’m willing to buy off aquabid if he is in there. I will check for him but I have seen swamp river aquatics on there lately...I’ll look after I post this! Thanks!!!

I've got a couple hundred K class if anybody in the US is interested.
HI Cuchlidnut! What kind of k class do you have? I’m interested! Are you willing to sell females? My female to male ratio is not good. How much do you want for them? I definitely want some! What part of the US are you in? I’m in Boise, Idaho. Thank you!!!

I tried to PM you but I don't think you have enough posts to PM yet. I'm looking to get rid of a bunch of K class that look like blackbars.

I have registered N-class Black Bars. Too new to PM myself. Will work on getting member status.

In the mean time, The Endler Shop - Home is run by a breeder of N-class Black Bars and Peacock Endlers-- he's on Adrian's registry.

Hello. The boy Endler pics keep coming out blurry. They won't stay still, and I asked real nice like.

I basically got my colony off the website in my earlier post. I'm on that dude's registry. That dude--Joseph Fragga--and the email associated with the endler shop's website is on Adrian Hernandez's registry of known N-class breeders on Swampriveraquatics.

When I eventually get a good shot of one of these little boogers I'll post it.

HI Gadfly! I have some peacocks from Joeseph Fragga also! It's a small world! Ive lost 2 males inexplicably since October. I may have to order more fish from J. Fragga if I lose any more. This has been my slowest producing endler tank.

I sent a message to Adrian HD again this evening. I'm still hoping to obtain some of his fish and avoid the middle man. No luck so far!

Hello Fishgirl. I think one of my black bars looks more peacock. Hopefully Adrien opens up shop in spring like orchidendlers. He still keeps his website up with a variety of Endlers I’d love to put in a tank.

My poor girls can’t catch a break. They’ve been perpetually pregnant, dropping fry and/or getting harassed by the fellas. Been thinking about getting them their own tank just so they can relax a bit.

If I notice any changes at swampriveraquatics I’ll try and remember to update the thread.

AdrianHD contacted me via facebook messenger yesterday! So excited! He said he would get back to me with what he has available, so we’ll see. But finally after 2+ years he got back to me! Thank you for mentioning me to him, Gadfly! I’m sure that’s what made the difference

Woooooo Hooooo! I'm so Jealous! No reply at all for me I REALLY need some endlers from him! I have some blue stars "supposedly pure" that I bought off the internet. But it had a tiger hybrid show up in the mix when the fish started to mature a couple of months ago. I quickly removed him, but yesterday I noticed I have some maturing fry that look very tigerish and nothing like a blue star! . From what I understand Adrian HD is very careful about what he has in his tanks. I need this!

In other news, I have not done any schoolwork this weekend, but I did get all but one of the fish tanks on my shelf! I now have 11 tanks in my basement!
