He is a secret user in Fishlore, and tries very hard to not get the computer soaked.

When he does, he steals one from his neighbor, Pleco Stomus.

Pleco Stomus has begun to think that the peacock gudgeon next door, Debbie, has been taking his computers.

Which obviously isn't the case, because Debbie is rich and has recently purchased the whole new line up of Apple products: iPhone 12 Pro Max, Apple Watch Series 6, iPad Air, and the 27-inch iMac!

Now, one day, a big silhouette of a human lifted the lid of his tank, and Grumplepants knew; eats were about to drop in.

But Grumblepants was allergic to the food and started swelling up

He died later that day but was replaced.

His adoptive son, Grumplepants Jr., soon took his place and started bossing everyone around to get all da goods.

The thing is, Grumplepants Jr. didn’t know that he was adopted.

But then he realized, the daily calendar had been saying it was April 1st ever since another human played a prank on the human and decided to rip out all the pages in the calendar and replace them with the date that day, which happened a little more than 2 years ago.

Grumplepants Jr's whole life had been a lie.

And it was just about to get worse.

Because the owner was bringing home an awful, mean new fish, thinking it was a nice fish that would get along in a community tank.

Once the fish was done acclimating and was released, he imminently started to torment the other fish.

First, he chased Pleco Stomus away from his slice of blanched cucumber and ate it all, making Pleco Stomus very upset.

So the pleco lunged at him

The body was found the next day in the pleco cave.

After scooping him out, the owner relized what he had done.

Pleco Stomus was sentenced to 20 years in prison.

it was hard time, but he eventually got out and celebrated with zucchini ice cream.

By the time they let him out, all of the other fish were gone and replaced by a massive 250gal tank, which was good because Pleco stomus was over a foot long.

She could easily kill Pleco Stomus if she wanted to, but fortunately, she didn't.

But before that, Pirate Hannah made a deal with Pleco Stomus, that for him to stay alive and uneaten, he would have to give her something of his.

Pleco knew that this was unfair and stupid: she isn't even close to being a vegetarian, much less a vegan, like him, so the food would be wasted!

Fortunately, he could still eat algae, because he was a pleco.

But there wasn’t enough algae in the tank to sustain a fish as big as he was, it would take a spike in nitrates to cause that.

Then he realized: Since the only occupant of the tank was her, excess algae was cleaned off the tank each week by a sponge on a stick.
