On This Day September17..

On this date in 1796, George Washington gave his farewell speech. It was when he uttered to congress those famous words, "I may not the worst, but I'll always be the first." ...I think that was him... or my first girlfriend.

In 1964, the TV show "Bewitched" made its debut. It taught what it would be like to be a witch in modern times and that if you replace Darrens and act natural, no one will notice.

TODAY IS

Rap singer Doug E. Fresh turns 41 today. Can you still run around at age 41 and be called "Doug E"? At some point, doesn't he have to switch to "Douglas E. Fresh"?

L.A. Lakers coach Phil Jackson turns 62 today. Talk about a workaholic, for the past several years, he's had two fulltime jobs: coaching the Lakers and coaching Kobe Bryant.

I wonder if someday I'll have to switch from Bonochick to Bonolady or something.

You're most welcome Carol.. and it only occurred to me this evening what a dumb cluck I was not including Fishloreans celebrating their birthday, so Happy Birthday mlinden84 and GuppieLover!!.. and Bonochick, if you took that name because you dig the coolest rocker ever, who BTW, celebrates his birthday on the same day as me, then don't think on it, be Bonochick for life.. it's not like he's about to ask his mates to call him Sir Paul Hewson anytime soon.. LOL.
