I just found a baby nerite snail in my goldfish tank!! Soo cute- but what do I need to do to look after it? Will the goldfish/ other snails eat him? (I called him Valentine because he is the first thing to be born in any of my tanks and he existed on valentines day lol)
The only other tank I could move him into is my betta tank, but the goldfish tank isn't heated, and the betta is 26 celcius, so would that kill him?
Any feedback good <3

Is your tank brackish?

It looks a little more like a pond or bladder snail. Nerites don't reproduce in freshwater.

no so now I 'm wondering if he came in on a live plant.

Yeah I was confused- maybe he came in on a live plant. :( that's way less exciting.

Yea it’s gotta be a pond or bladder snail. Bladder snails have more hairlike feelers while pond snails have thicker ones IIRC
