Olive oil in garlic for bloodworm soaking?

Hello all

I've been searching everywhere to no avail for pure minced garlic to soak my freeze dried bloodworms and krill in for my betta and other fish.

All i've found so far contain one or a mix of the following: vinegar, sugar, salt, food acid & preservative. I am wary about using any of these for my fish.

I have found one that is just minced garlic in some extra virgin olive oil (it's still about 95% garlic). Natural plant oil seems like a passable (possibly even beneficial) additive to me, but I would like comments from others on this before I feed it to my spoiled babies.

Alternatively, anyone use other varieties withe the additives above and found it safe?

Many thanks!
Lea

I wouldn't, you'd be better off buying fresh garlic and chopping it yourself and adding water.

I think I will. Was hoping to avoid the hassle though!

Thanks jetajocky.

Really don't want to put anything oily in your tank

Thanks carol, I imagine extra oils would be bad when not bound in the fish food.

Thanks

HI Kathy

Yes I saw this one, unfortunately in I'm Australia and I don't get any of those varieties here!

Thanks though
