OK walmart to us is ASDA!

Walmart own our uk supermarket Asda. I LOVE asda but we don't have stores that sell live stock. So what is the deal over there?

 

I guess they don't like selling fish in that store. Maybe they learned their lesson from the US.

yea. Asda Is a great shop. Never seen anything to do with pets at all tho in there, except dog/cat food. Probablly agood thing that they don't sell livestock.

Tazmiche, did you not know until now that Asda belonged to walmart? My mum told me. I didn't believe her at first after hearing things about the walmart everybody talks about in US.

I've know for quite a while but hasn't been something i've given any thought to until joining Fishlore. I have to say that I LOVE asda!

 

Oh really? Am a Sainsbury girl myself. I just love my Sainsbury (well, used to, seen as now I am in the land of really horrid supermarkets)

 

i'm not fond of Sainsburys. I think it is because when I go to my local one the security guard follows me around!! Probably coz i'm always in mucking out clothes and smell that a horse, guess I look well dodgy!! :;rab

I love asda but we don't have one localy so we just go there if we've been somewhere else and just decide to get a few things on the way back. We usualy go to Tesco's. Its boring and always crouded so I don't like it, but mum always makes me go with her! > We go to sainsbury's after we've been to the cinema sometimes because its right opposite, but its very rarely that we go there.

I believe that there are also other countries where walmart is operating under another name.. maybe because of their ruthless business tactics and miserable customer .

 

Yeah, they DID mention that. When I ask, they just say it's a random pick. Yeah right. I tried to be at the front of the queue, at the middle of the queue, at the back of the queue. I think they know I fly a lot and are more suspicious therefore?
