The more I research I am suspecting for my 56 gal (30x18x24) I should only have one angelfish. I had been thinking two. What does the forum say?

It's totally fine. Being in pairs actually can cause agression towards other fish :)

    I agree with @RainBetta.

Angels can be tricky. Two in a 55 can work. My experience is if you add them very young to an established aquarium and they grow up together with the other fish it generally works out.....Generally.

But you need to consider what to do if they as adults do not get along or become a breeding pair.

Ok. I will get only one. Just want to be certain they are ok with no other Angel's but in a community tank. Thanks
