I made the mistake (and am paying the price) of not properly cleaning some plants. And I now have bladder snails in 3 aquariums. The guppy aquarium is the only one that does not have mystery snails. so I dropped in 5 assassin snails. Two days later I found 3 snail shells, cool. But now all the bladder snails are sailing around the aquarium freeform in the water. It is like they are now fish. Am I missing something or they actually doing this to avoid the assassins?

I've seen it in some of my snails. Never figured out why, but probably to avoid the assassins.

I would just net them out if they are free floating.

I think they enjoy it. Mine do it in the tanks that don't have assassins, and they'll ride around on the assassins. I don't think they're smart enough to try to avoid them, lol
