Hello! I have a 25 gallon tank that I am looking to stock with Odessa Barbs. Would it be reasonable to house a school of 5 or 6 Odessa Barbs in a 25 gallon tank? Their only tank mates would be 1 or 2 guppies. Thanks!

The tank size should be fine for 5 or 6 Odessa's, but I would worry about putting the guppies in with them. All barbs can be nippy, and the Odessa's may not be able to resist the guppies long flowing fins.

They're extremely active fish, wouldn't put them in anything shorter than 3'. They'd tool on guppys during feedings as well.
